Tommy Gene Vaughn

Mr. Tommy Gene Vaughn, 64, of Elberton, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at his home. A native of Anderson, South Carolina, Mr. Vaughn was the son of the late Tommy Eugene and Evelyn Shaw Vaughn.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.Mr. Vaughn formerly worked as an equipment operator at Martin Fireproofing and for Dupont. He is survived by two daughters: Samantha Massey and her husband, Jonathan, of Elberton, and Constance Jacobs; ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.He also leaves behind a sister, Gail Brown of Starr, SC; a brother, Larry Phillips of Williamston, SC, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Vaughn's life was held on September 29, 2018. Arrangements for Mr. Tommy Gene Vaughn were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
