Thurman Ray Myers

Mr. Thurman Ray Myers, Jr., 55, of Colbert, GA passed away on December 27, 2019 in St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens.Born on December 27, 1964 inMarietta, Ohio, he was the son of Thurman and Doris Ruth Dunn Myers.Mr. Myers was a millwright in Environmental Construction.He loved fishing, cooking and NASCAR. Survivors include his mother, Doris Ruth Dunn; children, Dachelle (Dusty) Scott, Thurman Ray (Abby) Myers III, Adrienne (Tremell) Callaway, Linsley Myers, Zach Myers, and Allison Myers; grandchildren, Chace Myers, Aaron Scott, Little Dusty Scott and Gracii Scott; the mother of his children, Tracy Campbell; sister, Angie (Wayne) Patterson; nieces & nephews, Devan Patterson, Sierra Patterson, Caleb Patterson and great niece, Emery Patterson. Private services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Animal Shelter, 1888 Colbert Danielsville Road, Danielsville, GA, 30633. Arrangements are in the care of Hicks Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
