Teodoro Huerta Ponce

Mr. Teodoro Huerta Ponce, 42, of Elberton, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at his home. Mr. Huerta Ponce was born in Aldama, Tamaulipas,the son of Teodoro Huerta and Maria Ponce.He was the husband of Eliana Arzola, with whom he had celebrated over 22 years of marriage together.Mr. Huerta worked in the granite industry and was employed at Star Granite. In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. Huerta is also survived by his children: Erik Huerta, Erika Huerta, Edwin Huerta, and Freddy Garcia.He also leaves behind three brothers: Dionicio Huerta, Alelandro Huerta, and Fernando Huerta; and three sisters: Alejandra Huerta, Maria Huerta, and Juanita Galindo. A service to celebrate Mr. Huerta’s life was held on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at Casa Del Alfarero Church with Pastor Santiago Flores officiating.A time of visitation was held just prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund, C/O Casa Del Alfarero Church, 132 Heard St., Elberton, GA 30635 Arrangements for Mr. Teodoro Huerta Ponce were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
