Sara Frances Doster

Mrs. Sara Frances Doster, 90, passed away February 22, 2020 at Comer Health and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by family. A native of Comer, she was the daughter of the late William Grady and Zadie Mae Kidd Smith.Mrs. Doster was also preceded in death by her husband, R.F. Doster.She was an only child, cherished her home and loved working in her yard.She was a member of Meadow Baptist Church. Survivors include son, John Paul King, of Washington State, daughter, Joan King Garner, Dalton, Ga.; grandchildren and great grandchildren and a special cousin, Linda Graham and her husband, Ned who spent many hours with Ms. Frances, spending time with her and seeing that her needs and wishes were met. Funeral services were held Monday, February 24, 2020 at 11:00am in the Meadow Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Sarna officiating.Interment followed in the church cemetery.A time of visitation began at 10:00a.m. just prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Arrangements are in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
