Embry David Cleveland

Mr. Embry David Cleveland, 61, of Elberton, passed away on Thursday, July11, 2019 in Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. A native of Elberton, Georgia, David made his home in Tennessee for many years. He was the son of the late Embry Dennis Cleveland and Jane Parham McKinney. He was the owner/operator of Cleveland Granite Works, and enjoyed fishing in his time away from work. David was a member of Ruckersville United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Rhonda Thornton Cleveland; son, Thomas M. Clark of Jefferson City, TN., daughter and son-in-law Katie and Dustin Murray of New Market, TN., grandchildren Olivia Williamson Clark and Braylynn Faith Murray, sister and brother-in -law Denise Cleveland Roberts and Robert F. Roberts of Elberton, GA and extended family in Georgia and Tennessee. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at his home in Tennessee at a later date. The family will be at their respective homes. Arrangements for Mr. Embry David Cleveland are in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
