Edna Mills Bond

Mrs. Edna Mills Bond, 101, widow of Milton Bond passed away on March 20, in Elbert Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Ed and Mary Scarborough Mills. She was a homemaker and a member of Concord Methodist Church. Left to cherish her memories are two sisters, Marietta Gaines Bailey and Florence Alexander, and many nieces and nephews; and also the staff at Magnolia Estates. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Bessie Mills and Naomi Olson, and four brothers: Jack, Charles, William, and Ned Mills, all of Elberton. Funeral services celebrating her life were held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home with the Reverend Scott Mize officiating .
