Mr. Charles Dayton Kurtz,90, of Dewy Rose, Georgia passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013. He was born April 28, 1922 in Melcher, Iowa. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Kurtz; three children, Janet Crosby, Nancy Maloney, and Dayton Kurtz, Jr.; five grandchildren; and three great-granchildren. Mr. Kurtz was a World War II Veteran. He also was a building contractor for many years in Leesburg, Florida. He became a supervisor for a pre-stress concrete company before retiring and moving to Georgia in 1983.
