Danny Ray Parham

Mr. Danny Ray Parham, 61, of Carlton, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.Danny was born October 18, 1958 in Elberton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Jackson Parham and a sister, Becky Ann Drake.He was retired from the Granite Industry, having had worked at Lexington Blue Granite Company.He was a collector of knives and he loved to fish. Survivors include one Daughter, Haley Bowen; Mother and Step-Father, Betty Sue Kidd Drake and W. G. Drake; Brother, Roger Keith Parham (Annette Silman); and one grandchild, Joshua Gillespie. A graveside service was held on September 12th at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Presbyterian Church in Comer, followed by a Celebration of Life in the fellowship hall of Carlton Baptist Church. Arrangements for Mr. Danny Ray Parham were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elberton.
