Dan Walker Neal

Mr. Dan Walker Neal, 50, of Carlton, GA passed away Monday evening, July 9, 2012 at his home. Mr. Neal was born in Augusta, GA, son of John B. Neal and the late Barbara Kidd Walters.He was married to Regina Floyd Neal,and worked in the granite industry for Wiles Granite Company. Mr. Neal is survived by two sons, Daniel Neal (Stacey) and Shane Erwin (Misty);two daughters, Danielle Neal and McKenzie Neal;a sister, Barbara Jean Adams (Terry) of Bowman; and brothers, Ronald Lanier Neal and Donald Lamar Neal of Dewy Rose.He also leaves behind 4 step-brothers and sisters: Pat Moon of Dewy Rose, Jean Shaw (DD) and Ronnie Harris of Bowman,and Michael Harris of Athens, GA.Mr. Neal is also survived by 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Mr. Neal’s life will be Friday morning, July 13, 2012at 11:00 a.m. at The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Fife officiating.Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, July 12 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.Interment will be at Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery in Bowman, GA.
