Curtis Eugene Partain

Mr. Curtis Eugene Partain, Sr., 82, of Bowman, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 at his home.A native of Flatwoods, he was the son of the late Charlie Speer and Annie Lucille Rousey Partain.His wife of 42 years, Annie Lucille Wilder Partain, preceded him in death in 2007.He was also predeceased by brothers, Jefferson Speer Partain, Coy Ward Partain, Melvin Pete Partain and sister, Ardrath Bellew.Mr. Partain was a truck driver for 64 years.He served his country in the Army Reserve and National Guard. Survivors include sons and daughters in law, Eugene and Laney Partain, Daniel and Tiffany Partain, Charlie and Lisa Partain, Manuel Partain and Glenn Partain all of Elberton; Daughters and son in law, Melissa and Jason Boggs, of Wolcottville, Indiana, Glenda Fields and April Partain, both of Elberton; step-children, Marshall Boleman, of Elberton and Annette Miller and husband, Larry of Central, South Carolina; one sister, Carolyn Dunn of Bowman; twenty-one grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. There will be a drive-in graveside service Tuesday, April 14th at 2:00pm in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Adams officiating.EVERYONE attending MUST stay in their vehicles.
