Carolyn Arnold Gunter

Ms. Carolyn Ann Arnold Gunter, 62, of Elberton, GA passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born on January 12, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Neal Cornelius and Rilla McElhannon Arnold.She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Gunter,a son, William McCannon, and a brother, Bobby Joe Arnold. Ms. Gunter is survived by a son, Dewy Hubbard (Sara) of Stephens, GA;two grandsons: Travis D. Hubbard and Devin N. Hubbard; two brothers:Robert Arnold (Kathy) of Taylors, SC,and Roscoe McElhannon (Inez) of Lexington, GA; and one sister, Helen Lyons of Winterville, GA. A graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Palmetto Christian Church Cemetery in Carlton, GA. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.hicksfuneral.com.
