Betty Todd Mann

Mrs. Betty Todd Mann, 83, of Elberton, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Mann was born in New York, on September 25, 1930 to the late William and Ellie Mae Todd. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Mann, and was a member of Middleton United Methodist Church. Mrs. Mann is survived by her son, Dennis Mann and his wife Nancy; a granddaughter, Denise McCannon and her husband Gary; three great-grandchildren: Brian McCannon, Kevin McCannon and Josh McCannon, all of Elberton; and one great-great-grandchild, RachelMcCannon. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Mann was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Charles Mann, and a brother, Bill Todd. A service to celebrate Mrs. Mann’s life was held Friday, February 7, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home with the Reverend Sharon Coley officiating.Visitation for family and friends was on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home.
