Betty B. Capes

Mrs. Betty Bellamy Capes, 87, of Sandy Cross (Carlton), entered into rest Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Manor Lake Assisted Living in Athens, Georgia. A native of Banks County, Betty was the daughter of the late Claude and Ruby Bellamy. She was preceded in death by her nine brothers and sisters.She cherished her family and her friends.Shewas a member of Sandy Cross Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Bobby Capes of Sandy Cross;son and daughter-in-law, Robert Gary and Alisa Palmer Capes of Evans;grandchildren, Robert Jason Capes, Dallas, GA, and Jamie Capes Richardson (Andrew), Savannah;and one great-grandchild, Bennett Andrew Richardson, Savannah. The family will hold a Memorial Service at a later date. Arrangements for Mrs. Betty Capes were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
