Bert Coleman Stroud

Mr. Bert Coleman Stroud, Jr., 72, of Elberton, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 at his home, surrounded by family.A native of Aransas Pass, Texas, he was the son of the late, Bert Coleman and Pearl Viola Everett Stroud. Mr. Stroud proudly served his country in the United States Army and had worked in the oil industry as a master welder.He loved roaming in the woods, finding sticks and limbs which he would carve into unique pieces.In addition to his love for woodworking, he also enjoyed cooking. Survivors include his wife of thirty-five years, Sharon Allgood Stroud; sons and daughter in law, William and Lisa Stroud, of Cleveland, GA, Brian Stroud, Sylvester, GA and David Stroud, of Santa Maria, California; daughters, Amanda Middlebrooks, of Elberton and Annette Robertson, of Sulligent, Alabama; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. No services are planned at this time.
