Alton Wayne Bonds

Mr. Alton Wayne Bonds, 67, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Friday evening, June 14, 2019 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. A native of Elbert County, Mr. Wayne was the son of the late Waymond Earl and Leacy Bell Davis Bonds.A sister, Patricia Ann Raines also preceded him in death.Mr. Bonds was a self-employed painter in the construction industry.He served his country in the United States Marines. Survivors include four brothers, Earl Bonds, Allen Bonds, Joel “Willie Bob” Segars, Virgil “Buck” Segars and his wife Angela; two sisters, Lona Summers and Gail Segars Medina; one step-son, Caleb Swillings; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service for Mr. Bonds will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
