Margaret Tew

Mrs. Margaret Kathleen Crider Tew, 79, of Dewy Rose, Georgia passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Margaret was the daughter of the late Iva James and Roxie Wood Crider.She was preceded in death by her husband, James I. Tew. Margaret is survived by a daughter:Cindy Newby and her husband, Steve, of Dewy Rose; her three sons: Larry Wright of Dewy Rose, Ronald Tew and his wife, Angie, of Plant City, FL, and Randy Tew and his wife, Judy, also of Plant City.She also leaves behind four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.Margaret is also survived by a brother: Hubert Crider of Elberton;and two sisters: Virginia Jordan of Elberton, and Doris Patton of Hartwell. A service to celebrate Margaret’s life was held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home, with Rev. James Gunn officiating.Visitation was at 10:00 a.m. just prior to the service.A committal service was held on April 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Hopewell Memorial Gardens in Plant City, Florida.
