Mrs. Ina Carroll Albea, 87, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Elbert Memorial Hospital.She was currently a resident of Nancy Hart Nursing Center. Mrs. Albea was the daughter of the late William Carroll and Ina Gaines Jones. She was married twice, first to the late Garland Eugene Hill, and then to the late George Tillman Albea, Jr.Mrs. Albea was a dedicated member of Bethel E Baptist Church, and was also a member of the Elberton Pilot Club.She was currently a resident of Nancy Hart Nursing Center. Mrs. Albea is survived by her children: Joan Jordan and her husband, Rabun, Jimmy Hill and his wife, Susan, all of Elberton, and Karen Neugebauer of Madison.She also leaves behind her precious grandchildren: Shanna Neugebauer of Madison, Shane Neugebauer of Eatonton, Annie Hill of Brevard, NC, and Jamie Balltzglier and her husband, Heath, of Cumming;and beloved great-grandchildren:Ryan, Elijah, Clarity, and Olivia Balltzglier of Cumming. She is also survived by one brother, William Gaines Jones and his wife, Joyce. A service to celebrate Mrs. Albea’s life was Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel E Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Mize officiating.A time of visitation was at 10:00 a.m. just prior to the service.Interment followed in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Bethel E Baptist Church at 2576 Calhoun Falls Highway, Elberton, Georgia 30635. The family will be at the home of Jimmy and Susan Hill at 2781 Dr. George Ward Road. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.hicksfuneral.com.
