Hugh Edward Bridges

Mr. Hugh Edward Bridges, 84, of Elberton, passed away Monday, April 17th at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. Mr. Bridges was born in Royston, Georgia to the late Clint and Nancy Ray Bridges. Mr. Bridges is survived by several relatives: Blake Bridges, Joshua Bridges, Roger Bridges, McKesley Bridges, Stanley Bridges, Ronnie Payton, Teresa Stowers, Helen Bridges, JoAnn Dyal, Ray Stowers, Shirley Payton, Alona Bridges, Ariel Bridges, Abram Bridges, Austin Bridges, Wade Bridges, Wayne Bridges, Margie Bridges, and April Bridges. A service to celebrate Mr. Bridge’s life was held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 4:30 pm in The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home with Rev. Wade Bridges officiating. A time of visitation was held just prior to the service beginning at 3:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Blake Bridges, Joshua Bridges, Aaron Moon, Zack Watts, Jordan Ciccio, and Corbin Dewberry serving as pallbearers. Arrangements for Mr. Hugh Edward Bridges wasin the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
