Calvin D. Beckham

Mr. Calvin Delano Beckham, 65, of Bowman, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2013, at his home. Mr. Beckham was born in Elberton, Georgia to the late Harold Clark and Edith Ivy Beckham. He was a stone cutter and polisher by trade. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jenny Ray Beckham and siblings Harold Clark Beckham, Jr., Robert Brian Beckham and Terese Lynn Suttles. He is survived by his son Jared Walker Beckham; siblings Richard Beckham and his wife Kathy of Winston-Salem, NC, Edith Marian Gibson of Bowman, Cathy Seymour and her husband Mike of Elberton, Ivy Floyd and her husband Billy of Elberton, Melissa Williams and her husband Warren of Bowman, Harold Clark Beckham, III of Elberton,Renee Hutson and her husband Jamie of Springfield, SC and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Calvin’s life was held Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Akin officiating.
